World-class athlete and one of the most experienced ski racers, she has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships, which will be held in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues have led to her to become a multiple World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. The announcement of her retirement came via social media.
