Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook writer who has won Emmy Awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It will air for another 27 seasons. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she quickly stopped her enthusiasm. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. After selling the store it took her 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. A number of magazines and cookbooks came later. In the meantime, her Food Network show was also an enormous success. Her products range from kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina herself, a self-taught chef and has not attended a culinary school or in the hotel. She is known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining manner. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
