Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Louise made her debut in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the film. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came from 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease in between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated to Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
