Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome and raised with her family. Her dad was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito's lovers. It is not known if she has any siblings. Luciana attended the local high school, following her graduation in the year 1955. She then studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female within the class. Following two years of modeling, she was offered a role in Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her first wife. They made Return to the Peyton Palace following their wedding in 1960. Luciana was given the custody of Charles born on 13 June 1961. The couple divorced one year later. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was an actor and producer who was inspired by her work in the film Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as this mixed Spaghetti Western for which he became somewhat popular.
